Welcome to Australia/New Zealand and the South Pacific
Off we go to Oz!!! Rock on down under with an Aboriginal walk around Uluru (a.k.a. Ayers Rock). On the coast, scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, surf the breaks at Bells Beach, or drive the Great Ocean Road past lonely beaches and dramatic cliffs. Meet kangaroos, koalas, and wallabies at Kangaroo Island, watch the whales at Hervey Bay, and tour the Barossa Valley vineyards. Daredevils can see Sydney Harbour from on high with a climb atop the city’s famous bridge. Aussie hospitality awaits you!
Kiwi Adventures Await! If you think falling in love is a rush, try skydiving in Taupo, on New Zealand’s North Island. Bring your romance to a boil with a soak in hot mineral pools, then cool down on the snowy slopes of Mount Ruapehu or the South Island’s Southern Alps. Cuddle on a glacial cruise on Tasman Lake, float above vineyards in a hot-air balloon, and hike amid mountains in Fiordland. For
fantastic views of river gorges, take a journey on the TranzAlpine train. All this and so much more await you in New Zealand.
The island you wouldn’t mind being stranded on! French Polynesia is 118 geographically-dispersed islands in the South Pacific; the area stretches over 1,245 miles. You’re probably most familiar with Tahiti or Bora Bora, but Mo’orea and Raiatea are also charmers. Snorkeling, diving, Tahitian dance workshops, and straight-up lying around on the beach are all popular activities. The idyllic Tahitian landscape is reminiscent of a beautiful painting—like the ones done by famed French artist Paul Gauguin during his stay on the exotic South Sea island. Top activities here include diving Moorea’s colorful coral reefs, hiking to the scenic Fautaua waterfall, watching the surfers hang ten at Teahupoo, shopping for locally sourced black pearls, and exploring the Polynesian treasures at the Museum of Tahiti and the Islands.
