Williams Travel prides itself on Experience you can Trust and great customer service. We’ve built our business by treating every travel request as if it were our very own, taking care to make sure all the details are complete with the utmost care.

Sherry Williams (MBA) started the business in 1989 in San Jose, California, and became one of the first home-based travel agencies in the Bay Area. She eventually had other outside agents working with her and, in 1996, after her husband, John retired from his printed circuit design business, he joined the agency and quickly learned the agency’s computer system and the retail sales, meeting with vendors and sales representatives.

Over the years, both John and Sherry have traveled to many interesting international destinations and become quite proficient at being able to not only recommend hotels and sightseeing tours but to know which rooms had the best views, where to eat, and recommend out of the way things that wouldn’t normally be on a regular tour. They’ve traveled to all seven continents and have been everywhere from A (Ankara, Turkey) to Z (Zurich, Switzerland) and everything in between including Qaqortoq, Greenland! We’ve posted some of the photos from our many adventures on here for your viewing pleasure.
